Design Ideas
Unity in your garden is very important. Here we've used 3 identical birdhouses, but in different yet compatible colors. The teak double rocker has weathered to a gray that matches the rocks.
Do It Yourself
Every garden should have a gazing ball. Buy a metal one, not glass - they last a LOT longer!
Stretch your Dollars
We got the containers on each side of the rocker for $5 each at a garage sale. They were never used and cost about $25 each when new. You can find old benches, too. A fresh coat of paint will make them look new again.
Plant List
Three "Ventricosa Aureomarginata" Hosta next to the gazing ball. "Sum and Substance" Hosta surrounded by Variegated Liriope under the birdhouses. "Laceleaf" Japanese Maple under the red birdhouse. "Hicksi" Yew behind the left of the rocker.
Master Gardener
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
