Design Ideas
The style of your home should guide the style of your garden. Formal, contemporary, rustic, etc. Our home is rustic, so these chairs matched perfectly.
Do It Yourself
We bought these chairs unstained and let them stand with the ends of the legs in wood preservative overnight. We stained them to match the outside colors of our home. We like the look of aged wood, so we’ve never refinished or restained the chairs. If you want to save yourself some work, learn to love the look of aged wood!
Stretch your Dollars
Sanding and painting big nursery pots is an affordable way to have good looking, large containers.
Plant List
Clockwise from lower right: “Nellie Stevens” Holly, “Chartreuse Wiggles” Hosta in container, Day Lily, “Beni Maiko” Japanese Maple in container with “Vera Verde” Hosta, “Snowmound” Spirea on each side of the rock path with “Variegated” Hydrangea, “Gold Standard” Hosta, and “Palace Purple” Coral Bells around the birdbath, “Variegated” Liriope next to it, and “Forest Pansy” purple leaves in upper right corner.
Master Gardener
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
