We like to buy better quality garden ornaments made of metal, concrete, or wood. This metal butterfly is about five years old and still looks great. We stay away from resin products; they always seem to chip, fade, and look cheap over time.
Stretch your Dollars
Beautyberry is one of those shrubs you can take softwood cuttings from and make more plants. Softwood cuttings are on a stem between the green tip and harder, woody growth. Cut it, wet the end, stick it in rooting hormone powder, and stick it in the ground or a pot. The best time to do this is early summer.
