A great plant to involve your kids or grandkids in the garden is Hens and Chicks. Plant them in a container in the sun, and if the kids don’t water it, no problem. Plus, it will sprout off little babies for the kids and you to nurture.
Stretch your Dollars
You will use less water on hanging pots like Ferns if you submerge them in a bucket of water for awhile until they are thoroughly soaked. This method is a lot easier that dragging the hose.
