Design Ideas

The way light moves across our garden is very appealing. The patterns of shade, the glow of new growth, the sparkle in the water, and the beauty when a single plant is spotlighted by the sun, give us great pleasure.

Do It Yourself

When you lay a rock path, you only want to do it once. We dig out about 3 inches of dirt and put down crushed limestone. Then we set the stones in as tight and level as possible. We finish by brushing paver sand in the cracks.

Stretch your Dollars

Shop for your fountain in very late summer or fall. You can really get a good buy on closeouts.

Plant List

“Saucer” Magnolia on the left. “Firepower” Nandina, “Royal Purple” Smokebush, “Amur” Maple, “Variegated” Liriope, and a “Night Before Christmas” Hosta.

Master Gardener

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
