Growing Up Duck (Home School Kindergarten - 2nd Grade) Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park

Have you ever asked 'How do eggs turn into baby chicks?' or 'Do my scrambled eggs have a baby bird inside of them?' If yes, then come to the farm for a special class where we wisl learn the answers to those questions and more while we care for baby ducklings and observe duck eggs only days away from hatching.

We will also offer a more advanced Growing Up Duck class for older students grades 3-6. Students in this class will learn more about embryology (the origin, growth, and development of an embryo) as we learn how chicks and ducks develop through experiments, hand on experiences, & real observations of ducklings and duckling eggs as they grow in our classroom.
